Position Description
As an Account Executive, you will assist in executing all aspects of client service. As part of the link between the agency and our clients, your mission will be to understand your client’s goals, anticipate their needs and help keep work on track with budget and deadlines. You will draw on the agency’s resources to meet agency and client needs, building the foundation to grow into a trusted day-to-day resource.

Essential Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service First: Staying focused on client goals and relationship needs, while executing day-to-day account service and working closely with senior team members to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate & Create: Partner with agency teams to brainstorm strategies, tactics and campaign elements across creative, digital and PR.
- Implement Plans & Projects: Work within a cross-functional team to deploy tactics like event management, social and digital efforts, sales support and collateral development, aligned with client strategy and budget.
- Stay Close to Clients: Meet regularly with clients to understand their current and future needs. Be their voice and liaison within the agency.
- Know the Business: Learn the client’s business and build understanding of key issues, competitive situations and industry trends.
- Stay Curious: Stay current on marketing trends and industry activity, bringing new ideas to the internal team and client.
- Manage Multiple Priorities: Juggle multiple accounts, status reports and projects in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Solve Problems Proactively: Solve problems and negotiate resolutions as issues arise, keeping work moving and relationships strong.
- Manage Budgets & Invoicing: Monitor client budgets and invoicing, addressing and resolving invoice concerns with accuracy, with the support of the accounting team.
- Own the Agency Process: Follow agency processes and best practices to ensure consistent, quality execution. And help us refine this as our work and processes evolve.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 2–4 years of integrated marketing experience, agency experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Exposure to and/or expertise in the agriculture and/or food industries
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Ability to write tactical plans
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
